Not such a happy trail for this costumer! Bought furniture last Sat. They scheduled my delivery for Tuesday. Sat at home all day Tuesday waiting. Tuesday afternoon I called to check the delivery time. They returned my call at 4:00 and thanked me for my patience but informed me I would not get the furniture that day. They said they would try Wednesday evening or for sure Friday. Rushed home from Abilene Wednesday, but no delivery. Sat at home again all day Friday waiting They again returned my call late afternoon. Again thanked me for my patience and again said I would not be getting my furniture. But it would absolutely be here at 11:00 Saturday. 11:00 and no furniture. I call again and ask for a refund. This time they immediately got on the phone , thanked me for my patience, but said that "unfortunately" they could not refund my money. HOWEVER the truck was "literally" at my door and they should have already called for directions. An hour and a half later they show up at my door.
We were sold furniture with a specific warranty. We chose to buy here and pay more with the assurance of the quality and durability of their product. There was issues from the beginning that we chose to overlook, but in a year's time when their chairs were broken, we reported the issue and it took 3 months before anyone was sent out to look at the chairs...we still had not heard a word about the status of our furniture 1 month later so we decided to make the trip to Clyde to see if we could get our warranty. The corporate deemed the damage was from abuse(it wasn't) and the warranty was not honored. We received a check for about half of what we originally paid for the 2 chairs and we were told that corporate(Southern Motion) had advised us not to purchase another product from them. We won't be back.
Some of the furniture (everything I liked) was thousands...a little out of my price range! Big facility, several buildings, saw several employees, only one acknowledged me. Was interesting to walk through and see what they had but out of my pricing.
